Kawete, Uganda Day 3

GToday was an eventful day!  We enjoyed working more with the sponsored students.  We participated in QUIZ DAY where the students participate in a contest with questions about their different subjects and of history!  We also watched the Preschoolers do a music lesson and it was so joyful and fun.  The garden was plowed and hopefully planting of corn, beans and soybeans will begin soon. Dr. Killian worked in the Clinic again.  Malaria was present with 4 cases in children and one parent.  Dr. Killian also did a home visit for a 58 year old man who fractured his hip and is waiting for surgery.  He gave him blood pressure medication and Ibuprofen for pain.  We helped teach one of the mother's of a student how to make the washcloths with knitting.  She will be able to make them and sell in the market.  Tomorrow will be another day with a visit to the local market to purchase goats for the graduates from last year. We will begin painting the school and maybe help plant the garden.
